My Baby is 5!!!

Yesterday  my little girl turned 5!!  I just can not believe how fast this time has gone by.  5 years ago Emma decided to come 5 weeks early.  My water broke in the morning Sunday Jan 7th, 2007 and she was born at 10 pm that night!   She was a healthy little girl and we were able to leave the hospital 3 days later with her (we actually came home on her daddy's birthday!)

She has grown into such an amazing little girl.  She is defiantly my lovey, sweet girl.  She has gone thru some whinny phases, but all in all she is one perfect girl!  She is super active and never sits still or stops singing or talking (she gets it honest from her mom though!)  She is in full time preschool and does gymnastics 2 times a week and dance one night a week.

Yesterday in the morning she opened her presents from Brian, Caden and I.  Over night the birthday fairy came and put streams up around the house like she does every year.  Emma loves waking up and seeing the decorations.

Later that afternoon was her family birthday party and it was a fun party, her theme was Pinkalicious, her favorite book.  She got some awesome gifts, and even got some money to spend herself! She definitely likes to go shopping and spending money so those were great gifts for her. Today she went to target to spend some already! Target had some good clearance deals and she got more for her money! A bargain shopper like her mommy!

Poor Caden! The balloons got the best of him!

Than today was her friends birthday party at the place she takes Gymnastics and Dance.  It was a 2 hour bounce and flip party.  The kids had so much fun, and even some of the parents did some of the stuff too! (I will not admit that I got stuck in the foam pit trying to get Caden's socks before they got lost!)

After Emma's friends party we met my parents and brother and sil at Hacienda for the yearly birthday dinner!  It was good food and Emma even got another sombrero and they sang to her!
